When everything feels a bit off — your energy, your digestion, your routine — it’s tempting to look for something drastic.
A detox.
A strict plan.
A complete reset.
But most of the time, that’s not what’s needed.
What usually works better is something much simpler.
You Don’t Need a Detox
Despite what you might hear, your body doesn’t need extreme cleanses or restrictive plans.
What it responds to best is:
- consistency
- simple meals
- regular nourishment
Not perfection — just a bit more stability.
What a Simple Reset Looks Like
If you’re feeling out of rhythm, this is where I’d start:
🍽 Eat Regularly
Don’t skip meals and then overcompensate later.
🥗 Keep Meals Simple
Stick to:
- protein
- vegetables
- something to keep you full
No complicated recipes required.
🚶 Move Gently
A walk. A stretch. Something small.
💤 Prioritise Sleep
Even a little more rest makes a difference.
🧠 Reduce the Noise
Stop constantly changing what you’re eating.
Let your body settle.
Why This Works
When everything is changing all the time, your body never really gets a chance to stabilise.
Simple, consistent habits give it that space.
What You Might Notice
Within a few days, many people notice:
- less bloating
- more stable energy
- less overwhelm around food
Nothing extreme — just a shift back to baseline.
A Practical Way to Start
You don’t need to do everything at once.
Pick 2–3 things from this list and start there.
That’s enough.
Want More Structure?
If you want to take this further, I walk through it step-by-step in my 6-week reset starting June 1.
Or if you want to begin sooner:
